2026 Mother Tongue Fortnight

During the Mother Tongue Language Fortnight, our students were given meaningful opportunities to celebrate and appreciate their language and cultural heritage through a variety of engaging activities.
Over the two-week programme, students took part in a wide range of engaging hands-on activities, such as Batik Painting, Henna Painting, Indian Motifs, Lantern Painting, Chinese Spinning Top and Peranakan Tile Design.
These engaging experiences provided pupils with the opportunity to explore traditional art forms and cultural practices connected to their cultural roots. The students also gained a deeper appreciation of their Mother Tongue languages and cultural heritage while learning in a fun and meaningful way. It was heartening to see them participate with enthusiasm and pride throughout the two weeks.
