National Day 2026 at Cedar Primary School: Majulah! Our Singapore Spirit
Cedar Primary School marked Singapore's 61st birthday with vibrant red-and-white celebrations, featuring an observance ceremony, level-tailored CCE lessons, lively recess activities including student-led karaoke, and a dazzling school concert that fostered national pride and unity.

2026 READ@CPS and Racial Harmony Day Commemoration
Cedar Primary School recently marked Racial Harmony Day and READ@CPS under the theme "Singapore: Our People, Our Tapestry." Over two vibrant weeks in July 2026, students engaged in immersive classroom lessons, library trails, recess storytelling, short film screenings, and interactive book sessions. These activities deepened their appreciation of Singapore's multicultural heritage, fostered empathy, and strengthened a shared sense of belonging.

2026 Student Leaders’ Investiture
The Student Leaders’ Investiture Ceremony marked an important milestone as the outgoing Primary 6 Student Leaders officially stepped down from their leadership roles and were presented with certificates in recognition of their valuable contributions to the school.

2026 Hari Raya Puasa
Hari Raya Puasa was celebrated meaningfully, beginning with an impressive Silat performance by three talented Cedarians. Their graceful, dance-like movements, while appearing effortless, embodied deep cultural significance and reflected a tradition recognised by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage.

2026 Chinese New Year
Cedar Primary ushered in the Chinese New Year with a vibrant and meaningful celebration filled with learning and joy. In the classrooms, students discovered the significance of “lo hei” and enthusiastically took part to toss the colourful “ingredients” in class, sharing well-wishes and laughter with their friends.

2025 Celebrating Hopes and Dreams (CHAD)
Cedar Primary School held its annual Prize Giving Day, CHAD – Celebrating Hopes and Dreams – with great pride and joy as we honoured the achievements and talents of our students. 2025 National Education Programme
The Primary 5 NE Show is an important part of Singapore’s National Education Programme. On 5 July 2025, our Primary 5 students were given the opportunity to observe the National Day Parade (NDP) rehearsal at the Padang. This unique experience aims to deepen their understanding of Singapore's history, culture, and values.
